Sally Twisleton is a collaborative coach, facilitator and consultant.

She is Director of Assemble Coaching which was stablished to partner with leaders in engineering to help them gain clarity about themselves and about complex situations. She also works with teams to collaborate inclusively; solving challenging problems and enhancing their impact on the world. 

Sally is a Fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (FIMechE); an Accredited Coach (EMCC Global Senior Practitioner) and holds Masters degrees in both Engineering and Coaching and Mentoring.

She has 18 years of engineering industry experience having previously been a Senior Leader at Rolls-Royce. She has led teams through transformation, COVID and hybrid working along with many other aspects of leadership such as inclusive leadership and supporting colleagues wellbeing. She truly understands what it means to be a leader in the world today; combined with her empathy and coaching skill she can offer highly relevant and practical insights to leaders and teams. She has experience facilitating a wide range of workshops from small team building or strategy sessions; coaching and mentoring masterclasses; improvement workshops or larger team away days and workshops.

Sally has developed a practice influenced by Gestalt psychology and is able to create a calm supportive space to allow clients to work in the here and now to think for
themselves, generate new insights to make changes.

Sally practices within the EMCC Global Code of Conduct and Diversity Policy.

Sally is an advocate for women’s leadership having carried out research into the role of coaching and mentoring in supporting more women in senior engineering leadership.
She has published her work in Coaching at Work. Sally is a volunteer coach with Teach First and the Humanitarian Coaches Network. She is also a member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers Strategy committee.
