Nicola Brown is a seasoned Communications Director with extensive experience at board level, specialising in guiding complex organisations to effectively communicate their narratives and engage their audiences.

With a robust background as a journalist and newspaper editor, Nicola has dedicated over 20 years to leading communications within various organisations.

She has successfully established new communications departments, redefined roles and objectives, and spearheaded award-winning internal and external communications and public relations campaigns. Currently, she operates her own consultancy, focusing on collaborating with organisations committed to public good.

As a Chartered Public Relations professional, Nicola is recognised for her exemplary practice in the field. She has served as a Council member for CIPR Global (Chartered Institute of Public Relations), where she has judged national awards and held leadership roles within regional committees, including Vice Chair of the Greater London Group.

In her role with EMCC Global, Nicola is a prominent figure, hosting the weekly EMCC Global GPS Dialogue Series and initiating the EMCC Global Five Day Challenge. This initiative supports coaches and mentors in achieving their individual accreditation (EIA) while offering development opportunities for new assessors. She serves as the lead for communications at EMCC Global.

Driven by creativity and a thirst for knowledge, Nicola integrates diverse insights into innovative strategies for her clients. A lifelong learner, she enjoys delving into new topics and exploring various fields of interest.

In addition to her consultancy work, Nicola has completed training as a coach and is pursuing individual accreditation. She actively mentors through the Thrive With Mentoring initiative, dedicated to empowering women and unlocking their potential.
