Andrea Giraldez-Hayes, PhD, is a chartered psychologist, psychotherapist, coaching psychologist, supervisor, academic, and consultant with a remarkable track record in fostering personal and organisational growth. With an enduring commitment to continuous learning and professional development, Andrea has cultivated a diverse skill set over her 35-year career, spanning roles in the arts, education, coaching, psychotherapy and positive psychology sectors.
Andrea is currently the Course Director for the MSt in Coaching at the University of Cambridge, and she served as the Programme Director for the MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology at the University of East London between 2018 and 2023.
She is an associate editor for prestigious publications such as Coaching: An International Journal of Theory, Research and Practice, the International Coaching Psychology Review, the International Journal of Coaching Psychology and Philosophy of Coaching. She has authored several books and papers, including Applied Positive School Psychology and Arts-Based Coaching. Throughout her career, Andrea has been a guest lecturer and an independent community arts consultant in multiple countries, including Spain, the UK, Australia, Italy, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Panama, Peru, Chile, Uruguay, and Argentina.
